Hardcover. Condition: Fair. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. A fair to good 8vo Denver Museum of Natural History hardcover in a fair dust jacket. Tender hinges including gutter tears in the front and rear paste-downs. Prior owner info (in red pen and/or a black marker/yellow highlighter) on the paste-downs and the free front end paper. Four inch gutter tear from the top on the title page. There is an occasional penciled 'X' in the margin of the text. The extensively b&w illustrated contents remain, however, overwhelming clean, complete and securely bound. Orange cloth with rubbed/dull gilt titling on the spine and the upper board. These boards are rubbed in the extremities and there are a few minor stains. The dust jacket, which is NOT price clipped ($5.00) has yellowed tape along the edges and on the spine. This tape has slowed but not prevented edge wear including tears and some chipping/erosion. The dust jacket also has some soiling. This five-part hardcover contains 'Proceedings', numbers three through seven. (A 'Proceeding' is a DMNH publication devoted to technical and semi-popular studies of Colorado Natural History.) NOT an ex-library copy!.
