No Jacket. 204 pp, the book and contents are solid and tight, there are many b/w photos of the school and grounds and some b/w illustrations, the pages are clean with some foxing, the front endpaper has a "Visitors' Day" Westtown Boarding School program dated Fifth Month 16th, 1902 laid-in the front, this 4.5" x 6" program has a vertical crease down the middle and some light soil, the program started at 10:00 AM and the last part, Swedish Gymnasticxs" started at 2:45PM, there is a former owner name and date of 6-7-1899 written on the second free endpaper, the front inside hinge has a1/2" crack at top and bottom, the covers are tight and have some extremity wear and light soil.

History of the Westtown Boarding School, a Quaker institution founded as a result of a movement for the education of the children of the poor of Philadelphia and its environs initiated by Owen Biddle's 1790 pamphlet "A Plan for A School". Spotting to the cloth and somewhat shaken but relatively solid in its binding.
