Book
Large format hardcover. Condition: Good. Illustrated by Michel Delacroix. (illustrator). A little girl tells the story of her father, a painter, and he tells her all about Paris when he was a child. Picture book reproduces original watercolors by Delacroix. Dark blue cloth, slight warp to boards, some spotting to early pages. Delacroix, born in 1933, is a French naif painter focused on landscapes and streetscapes of Paris. He uses vibrant color and small details, and many of his works are set in the 1930s and 1940s and involve scenes he remembers from his childhood during the Nazi occupation of Paris.
