BOOK CONDITION: A quarter inch split in the cloth at the bottom front spine edge otherwise the covers are very good, the binding is tight and the book is clean. There is an old Sierra Railway ticket taped to the half title page along with a lengthy personal note, mostly written in pencil. DESCRIPTION: Mapped end papers and illustrated with black and white photographs.

Unclipped jacket has heavy edge-wear with some areas of loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing. Crude tape repairs to reverse of jacket.
