Book Condition: ffep missiing and the two following pages appear to be shorter; two spots where the hinges are cracked at the rear paste down and just after the title page - although the binding appears fairly tight; a few spots of soiling; pages are lightly aged, more so at the text edge - the paper is quite cheap, perhaps due to wartime shortages; spine lean; wear to bottom boards (boards are unusual in that they are bevelled all round) ; lending library stamp on rear paste down and a 1/4 section of the paste down has a sticker removal. Better than it sounds and fairly scarce.
