Condition: New. Paperback. Condition: Very Good Indeed. Not Stated (illustrator). First edition. A smart first edition copy of Ivanov's critically acclaimed, and now very scarce, play 'Armoured Train 14-69'. The first edition of this very scarce work in the publisher's original pictorial paper wraps. Vsevolod Ivanov (1895-1963) was a Soviet and Russian writer, dramatist, journalist and war correspondent. His experiences fighting in Siberia with the Red Army, during the Civil War, inspired his short stories. This work was originally written as a short story in 1922, but Ivanov rewrote this story as a well-regarded play in 1927. This is the English translation of the play, translated by Gibson-Cowan and A. T. K. Grant. This work is now very scarce to see. In the publisher's original pictorial paper wraps. Externally smart, with only light marginal age toning. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Very Good Indeed. book.
