DJ is still glossy, but this white background looks a little more ivory now than it did when it was new. No tears or marks, just the natural discoloration of age. No date on the title page. Copyright page dated 1976. Number line 5 6 7 8 9 10. 476 pages. This copy is signed by Bob Woodward on the title page. No date, no inscription - just his name in blue ink. Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Hardcover. Dark blue cloth with white lettering on the spine. Title blindstamped on the front cover. All in good condition, but boards ever-so-slightly bowed, lettering ever-so-slightly rubbed. Pictorial DJ with some fading and edgewear, small chip or two at the crown and foot of spine. Photographs of the authors on the rear flap. There is no price on the DJ. Very small embossed crown or leaf on the rear corner of the back cover -- suggests to me that this is a Book Club Edition. No date on the title page. Copyright page dated only 1974, with a SBN number but no ISBN number. No statement of printing or number line. (again, pointing to this being a Book Club Edition. Pages clean, binding tight. Bookplate on the inside front cover with the name Ina L. Navazelskis -- who wrote a book in the late 1980s about Leonid Brezhnev. This copy is SIGNED on the front endpaper by BOTH Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward. No date or inscription, just their names, one on top of the other. Though both men are alive and well and sometimes in the same place, copies of this book with both their signatures are very hard to find. I have rated this book as being in Good condition rather than Very Good only because of an overall lack of crispness, not because of any damage or flaw. It should probably be rated higher.
