Light handling folds which are visible in margins only, margins with tears and creases/folds, diagonal crease in image through sheet. Examine photographs carefully.Image size 245 x 210mm (13.5 x 8.5 inches) Sheet size 600 x 500mm (24 x 19 inches)This photo-lithograph made by Spencer s friend, the artist Henry Trivick, and is taken from a set of drawings made by Spencer in the 1930s. Copies are held at the Stanley Spencer Museum in Cookham and are extremely scarce. Being a trail proof, it does not bear a Friary Studio stamp.I purchased these some years ago at Bonhams, Chelsea as part of a large lot, all of which were trial proofs with printer s directions. No Binding. Condition: Very Good. Stanley Spencer (illustrator). 1st Edition. Henry Trivik, 1975 .A photo-lithograph, printed on light coloured paper with dark brown coloured ink. A trial printers proof therefore not numbered. There are two light brown spots , one being in the image, the other just outside in the margin on the centre right side; a dark mark on the left margin edge; sheet edges are creased with diagonal crease marks in top left corner. Most of which can be mounted out. This photo-lithograph made by Spencer s friend, the artist Henry Trivick, and is taken from a set of drawings made by Spencer in the 1930s.
