Plan of a proposed fountain for Palmerston North. Showing perspective, elevation, and plan views. 37 x 47 cm. Probably designed for a competition to build a fountain in 1902 for Palmerston North's central square in commemoration of the coronation of King Edward VII. The competition was won by the Napier architect Charles Vautier, with a gothic-inspired stone monument, still standing in a corner of the square. Unique, attractive, hand-coloured, pencil and ink original Edwardian architectural drawing in excellent condition. Seller Inventory # 017562
