Original exhibition poster by Nan Goldin. 100 x 70 cm, as new. Nan Goldin (born September 12, 1953 in Washington, D.C. ) is an American photographer . The themes of her photographs are LGBT subcultures, love, sexuality, drugs and violence. The bisexual photographer provides very personal insights into her living environment. Her pictures are characterized by a ruthless directness that does not shy away from intimate moments. Her best-known work is the audio picture show The Ballad of Sexual Dependency (1980 1986). Goldin won the Hasselblad Photography Award in March 2007 . After overcoming an addiction to the painkiller Oxycontin, Goldin became involved as an activist in 2018 against the Sackler family of pharmaceutical entrepreneurs and the drivers of the opioid crisis in the USA .
