A very fine original mixed media drawing for the cover of Emil Alvin Hartman's Fashion Academy in house publication The Fashionist, first number October 1922. Image size 20 x 14 in. Plus a copy of The Fashion Academy promotional book from 1933. Emil Alvin Hartman, was the founder and director of the Fashion Academy, NYC, founded in 1917 it was the premiere fashion school in America at the time. The school was famous for the Fashion Academy Gold Medal Award handed out each year to companies whose products featured exceptional design; winners included United Airlines, General Electric, Firestone, Ford & The Chicago Tribune.
