Artists and Engravers: The author and etcher / engraver of this work is Bernard Picart (1673-1733). He was a French painter. He was born in Paris and died in Amsterdam. Sebastien Bourdon (1616-1671) was a French painter and engraver, the son of a Protestant painter on glass at Montpellier. His chef d'Ă…â uvre is The Crucifixion of St. Peter made for the church of Notre Dame.Condition: Fine. general age related toning. occasional faint spots / foxing as visible on scan. He holds shop in Overasselt, a small town on the Maas river near Nijmegen, The Netherlands, which can be visited by appointment. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Antiquarians (NVVA) and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB).

We ship worldwide and package our items meticulously. We carry an umbrella insurance policy. Our shipment rates are based on shipments up to 1 kg. For heavier shipments we will contact you with a quote. Currently our surcharge for international shipments over 1 kg is 9,14 euro / kg. In addition POST NL temporarly charges 3,60 euro per kg due to CORONA related logistics. We ship by registered mail through POST NL. Expedited shipping or shipment through another carrier is available on request at a possible surcharge.
