Mead, 11 Bouverte street, Fleet street, 1841, London. Engraving on wove paper. Made by 'Henry Melville' after 'Thomas Hosmer Shepherd'. Henry Melville (1792-1870) was a British engraver. Thomas Hosmer Shepherd (1792 1864) was a British topographical watercolour artist well known for his architectural paintings. Very good, given age. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully. The overall size is ca. 20.9 x 27.2 cm. The image size is ca. 7.9 x 9.7 cm.
