State: Fourth state of 4 Ref: Hollstein 14 Provenance: Jules Gerbeau (Lugt 1165) Shoemaker. Etching on Laid paper. Watermark: Grapes Made by 'Cornelis Dusart' after own design. Cornelis Dusart (1660-1704) was a pupil of Adriaen van Ostade. He specialized in highly finished works of art on paper with genre subject matter. Very good, given age. Thread margins. Margin, reinforced with contemporary paper. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully. The overall size is ca. 18.3 x 25.4 cm.
