Probably a later impression.Biography engraver: Jourdheuil (1759-1781) was a French engraver, pupil of J.F. Beauvarlet.Biography artist: Gabriel Briard (1725-1777) was a landscape and portrait painter of some grace and facility of hand, the master of Demarne. Condition: fair, given age. Corners damp stained. Paper with crinkles and a diagonal crease upper left. Light foxing. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully. In 2018 he decided to further develop his personal collection through 'Pictura Prints'. Peter has a background in design and landscape architecture and holds a degree in paper restauration. He holds shop in Overasselt, a small town on the Maas river near Nijmegen, The Netherlands, which can be visited by appointment. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Antiquarians (NVVA) and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB).

In addition POST NL temporarly charges 3,60 euro per kg due to CORONA related logistics. We ship by registered mail through POST NL.
