An advertisement in contrast to the book's dedication, which thanks women in history who believed that fulfillment and achievement did not end at age forty. First published in 1934, this is a reissue by Grosset and Dunlap. Podolsky's primer covers menopause, anxiety in women aged forty and over, marriage, widowhood, living single at age forty, exercise, and healthy habits for women forty and above.
