Set of 48 Stereographs depicting World War 1. Numbered 1 - 48. No publication date; circa 1919. In the original box. Views depict the horrors, weapons, destruction, and triumphs of the war. Text description printed on the rear of each view. The Stereographs are all very clean; photos sharp. The box has some edgewear. The embossed gilt lettering on the box face is mostly gone, but the gilt on the label is bright. Couple chips on the label edges. Remains of an old label on the bottom of the box. #47 depicts "Colored Veterans of the 15th Regt, 369th Inf, marching up Fifth Ave in New York City".
