Three quarter brown polished calf over marbled boards, raised bands, red and green morocco title labels, top edges gilt, marbled endpapers, silk pagemarkers, (7 x 4.5 inches). SIGNED bindings by Root & Son, London. Tissue-protected engraved frontis and title-pages by E. Finden preceding the printed title-pages (engraved title pages dated 1833). Set includes six volumes of a Life and Letters of Byron by Thomas Moore and eleven volumes of Byron's poetry, including Don Juan in three volumes. Provenance: each volume with the bookplate of Henry Chisholm (1822-1881), the 19th century Cleveland industialist. Shows some light exterior wear and chipping, internally clean and tight Size: 12mo.
