Undated, circa 1880s. 136pp, with 68 full page illustrations. Original crimson cloth pictorial gilt. Covers are slightly rubbed with slight wear at the spine ends. Internally the bookplate of Edwin A. Dawes (Biochemist, Magician, Historian of Magic & Collector), inner joints are cracked but remain firm, an area of wear on the front endpaper, but contents are generally clean & unmarked.
