Boards intact with wear in leather at hinges and edges. Bumped corners on boards. Pages clean. Text unmarked. Sold "as-is." George Farquhar (1677-1707) was an Irish playwright best known for his bawdy Restoration comedies. Includes: The Inconstant: or, The Way to Win Him. A Comedy (1702); The Twin Rivals: A Comedy (1702); and the author's most famous play, The Recruiting Officer: A Comedy (1706) which was one of the most popular plays in 18th Century London.
