John-Peter Hayden, Jr. ABAA / ILAB founded Hayden & Fandetta Rare Books in 1988. He is an international private dealer who specializes in new, out-of-print, and rare 18th to 21st-century books about art, antiques, and design. Color plate books, illustrated books, gardening and flower books, unique children's books, and Art Deco first editions are a specialty as well.
The firm buys distinctive books about wine and cookery, etiquette, nightclubs, and society. Of particular interest are books about Asian, African, Oceanic, and The Americas tribal arts. We import hard to obtain new books from Europe and list a small number of titles on the Advanced Book Exchange.
From time to time we communicate with customers via email about new and exciting acquisitions. Hayden & Fandetta's stock may be viewed by appointment or at major art, book, and antique shows.
A bookbinder/conservator is available for complete bookbinding and restoration services.
