A rare original full-colour propaganda poster from the early 1970s during the Chinese Cultural Revolution. 78cm x 54cm portrait format. Printed on thick white paper. It depicts a smiling Chairman Mao Zhedong. Text reads: "Wishing Chairman Mao A Long And Healthy Life".Produced for use in school classrooms where it would usually be seen alongside posters of Lenin, Marx and Engels. Condition: very good with some light creases and wear at the edges, a few small neat tape repairs on back. Provenance: from a private Chinese collector in Nanjing. Seller Inventory # 004137
