12mo. 120 pages. Hardcover in original publisher's green cloth with cover designs embossed in blind. Signed Bradley binding with "B. Bradley" faintly stamped in blind within the design on both the front and the rear covers. Boards show moderate wear, some toning at edges. Corners are bumped. Rear board cloth shows wrinkling. Endpapers are foxed. Inscription on the front flyleaf reads, "To my friend- / Tepie-Donaldson- / W.H.C. / Cincinnati., May 25th 1841." Text is foxed and toned. A sound copy. Translated (without attribution in print) by Unitarian clergyman Charles T. Brooks (1813-1883) who lived in Newport, Rhode Island. Seller Inventory # 043120
