A Fine tight copy in brown cloth boards, issued without a dust jacket. This work is Snyder's college thesis that he presented in 1951 for his Bachelor of Arts degree. It is a short confident document whereby Snyder selects a relatively simple myth from the Haida tribe of the Northwest Coast of British Columbia. The myth concerns a chief's son who marries a super-natural goose-woman who loses her as a result of a social mistake on his people's part. He searches for her with the help of other supernaturals and is helped in his search by a Raven. Seller Inventory # 23793
