Folio. Preface dated August 1918. Pp [7] 0-52, each number having an a and b page (ie 0a 0b 1a 1b etc) [2] 39 pages of Termination Orders. Printed on vellum-like paper. The preface states that the work consists of 53,000 5-letter cyphers which are attachable to each other. There are at least two letters difference between each cypher, non of them are telegraphically convertible and that mere transpositions of two letters as abdar/adbar have been avoided, and words apt to be mistaken for each other through similarity in handwriting have been omitted. Condition: library stamp on title and library label on front pastedown. Bound in half black leather, gilt. Some scuffing to boards and chipping to head and tail of spine, but firm and tight. Good.
