Ann Reed translated this volume from it's original French text into English. This book was originally published in France in 1954. This first English version was published in 1968. There are multiple color and black-and-white images included in the 31 pages of this volume. Most of the illustrations are full page and there are bright and colorful, although there are several smaller images. The boards are also an in image in orange's and yellows with a sun and bird. The lettering on the front cover and spine are in black. The artist for this book is Susan Kohn. Unfortunately, there is slight musty odor accompanying this book, otherwise this book would be in Near Fine to Fine condition-the spine ends are stiff, corners sharp, there is no writing internally or externally to this volume and there are rips, tears or other damage to the pages, and the gutters are intact (the down grade is not based on the strength of the smell, just that there is a smell at all).
