Frontispiece, 47 black and white photographic plates, many featuring two illustrations, plus two maps, one of which is folding. Some mild shelf wear, very good overall. Freddie Spencer Chapman was a member of both Greenland expeditions led by Gino Watkins. His account of the first during 1930-31 was titled "Northern Lights", this description of the fateful second expedition has an introduction by another member of the party. Seller Inventory # 47525
