186 pages, with copper engraved frontispiece engraved by Joshua Reynolds after Thomson, still in original sugar paper boards, spine lost and stringing shows with contents leaf mis-bound after page 179 and not before page 1 as would or should have been intended. Perhaps the sheets were finished this way as it all remains uncut and NOT placed in later, the paper is hand made cartridge paper watermarked "HS 1807". An ink inscription inside front board reads "Castletown Library" (Ireland) bought by Lady Eva Wyndham Quin 1909". 12 mo. 1808. *Two editions were printed closely together within months both here and in the USA.
