Germantown Reprinted: Christopher Sower, 1759. 168pp. Contemporary calf, raised bands. Calf worn, spine leather cracked, chipped at crown. Early ownership inscription on front flyleaf. Some modest foxing and occasional staining, but internally a good, sound copy. First American printings of both works. Although the second work is called for in the title of the first, it was printed, signed and paginated separately and has a separate Evans entry. The Hartley title incorporates yet another work (though paginated continuously), with its own title-leaf: William Dell's CHRIST'S SPIRIT, a CHRISTIAN'S STRENGTH. (Germantown: Sower, 1760, pp.73-168).
