Very good hardcover in a fair to poor dust jacket. Green cloth with pictorial black/ orange front cover with gold lettering. Gold lettering to spine. With uncommon dust jacket having the same pictorial view that is on the front cover, but with full color and red lettering. Ads for "Wohelo" Camp Fire Girls Series and The Virginia Davis Series (five titles listed). DJ is fragile and in protective mylar. Clean and unmarked throughout with a small pencilled price to top corner of front free end page. Rear end pages a bit browned at edges. Binding solid. 274pp + 13pp of ads for Burt book series. Page edges dusted. Appears to be an early printing. Dust jacket uncommon in any state. See photos for details. Covers clean with gold spine lettering darkened but readable. Dust jacket has a large chip from bottom edge of front panel 2-1/2" tall and 1-3/4" at widest point. Some folds and loss to cover edges and loss to spine top/ bottom. Title on DJ at spine has lost the "a"s" from Virginia's and "re" from Adventure. Publisher's name is mostly worn away. DJ flaps intact. An attractive copy with a fragile but intact DJ.
