In German originally as "Geigen und Geiger" (Violins and Violinists), a well presented story with extracts from Renzo Bacchetta book on Stradivari. Farga exhibits delinquence in telling readers that Guarneri del Gesu was a son of Giovanni Battista. It contains some excellent illustrations among which a violin by J. B. Guadagnini Piancenza, 1744, another by Lorenzo Guadagnini. Very good in dust jacket with Paganini photo, small chips and tears. Seller Inventory # 273818
