'A substantial work from John Worlidge, agricultural experimenter and writer. This manual is a splendid example of early rational research and technical inventiveness applied to cider and wine making.'- Janson. pp. [xxiv],186,[6]. With an initial licence leaf, engraved frontispiece & two copper plates & one woodcut to text. An excellent copy in contemporary sheepskin, (the copy described by Bitting the same), the boards with double-line border in blind, the spine with similar horizontal blind-tooling forming five panels, a little cracked and rubbed but quite excellent & sound all in original state.
