These books are in good condition. There is some light rubbing to the outside boards. Volume 1 has some chipping to the top and bottom of its spine. There is an old signature in the front of volume II and no bookplates or markings of any other kind. There is some foxing. All 6 original black and white illustrations are present. Volume 1 is a 60 Thousandth printing, Volume II is a 50 Thousandth printing. This is an early edition, published by John P Jewett and Company in 1852. A rare find in any condition.
