Not ex-lib. Hardcover in black cloth with red titles and bards to spine, in red and black jacket, small 8vo. 276pp. Index, bibliography, endnotes. VG-/VG-. Book opens flat at pp.256-257 with slight separation but all holding fine (primary reason for downgrade). Clean, sahrp cloth with mildly toed-in corners and strong colors to spine titles; binding and hinges strong and square; pencilled bracketing and occasional underlinng/notes erased from second part (on individial disciples), now all clean and unmarked on somewhat creamy-toned stock. Jacket is chipped to 3/8" depth at upper spine end (not into titles) with associated moderate wear and touches of loss along upper edges; milder rubbing and surface loss along fore edges and hinges with central colors clean and bright.
