RARE EARLY TUNBRIDGE WELLS INTEREST: Causton's poem on Tunbridge Wells was the first eulogy on the spa to be published, and was reprinted several times as the popularity of the place rapidly increased around the turn of the century. Other title descriptive: Tunbridgialia: or, the pleasures of Tunbridge. Latin - base title page: Anno M.DCCIX. With the Latin text only. Possibly printed by Henry Hills (Foxon). With woodcut coat of arms on t.p. Note:. Neatly bound in modern navy cloth boards, with gilt work to spine. All pages are excellent. I have collected books most of my life. My collection has reduced now to about 4,000 items. I list a few more as time goes by! It is difficult sometimes to allow old friends to move on. Of course, they can find fresh enthusiasm from their new owners. No matter how many items you handle, there's always excitement and interest.
