A handsome leatherbound volume in rich green and brown with gilt trim. Top edges gilt. Gilt decorated spine with raised bands. Some gentle scuffing and a superficial crack on both top and bottom of spine where the board meets the hinge. Marbled endpapers. Two gift inscriptions on ffep, Xmas 1946 and Xmas 1956 - a mother passing a deceased father's book on to her son. Clean interior with no markings. 1288 pages.
