Preliminaries complete, with catchword matching first page of the main text. Contemporary vellum, spine lettered by hand. Spine darkened; upper hinge cracked; small tear at inner margin A1; else a very good copy with fine, crisp text throughout. The author s own Spanish version of these polemical treatises and dialogues, first published in Italian by Paolo Bisagni at Catania in 1691. Apart from the primary purpose of arguing again the Muslim's, supplemental dialogues argue for the truth of the Catholic faith, against other non-believers, most especially Jews and non-orthodox Christians. Manuel Sanz (1646-1719) was a professor of grammar, rector of the College of Malta, and counselor of the Holy Office [of the Inquisition] "Le P.
