One of 1500 numbered copies, designed by Frederic Warde, and printed at the Princeton University Press; the collotype reproductions of both etchings and water-colors having been made by Arthur Jaffe of Vienna. 6 1/4 inches x 9 3/8 in., mounted frontispiece; introduction; xxiii, 60+pp. + numbered colophon page; with a total of twenty-four mounted color illustrations; and also reproductions of etchings. Full tan leather with the lettered title stamped on the spine, and designs of both Punch and Judy, stamped with various border designs on the front and back covers; glassine paper wraparound dustjacket; in a mottled tan paper-covered slipcase, with a matching chemise, with the title printed on the back of the chemise. The lower spine end of the chemise, shows some light dampstains, and with a small area of the lower spine end of the book, showing darkening of the leather.
