Contains a chapter on "John Paterson The Golfer" and some references to tennis in the city. 2nd edition. 8vo. 391pp. a few illustrations. Internally very good, clean and bright. In the original pictorial brown cloth, embossed gilt titles to upper and the tanned spine. Fractionally rubbed, else very good. Front gutter partially exposed, but still firm. Schools 1st prize (for arithmetic, dated 1894-95) label adhered to endpapers. Seller Inventory # 341B
