This 5.375 x 8.0 inch, 51 page softcover book is the 1930 printing of this title by the Boy Scouts of America as part of the Boy Scouts Service Library, this item being number 3196. This copy is in near fine condition with just a touch of corner wear showing on the dark green paper covers, with elaborate orange-black-and-green design and printing on the front cover panel. The cover states a price of 20 cents. The interior of the booklet shows a smudge on the title page and just a touch of bending to the top corner but beyond that the pages are in at least near fine condition with no markings or damage to be seen. This booklet is filled with information and black-and-white sketches and photographs of totem poles, their design, carving, and the imagery used on the poles themselves. A nice little item. 51 pages.
