About this Item
This NF quality book was published in 1912 by Grosset & Dunlap. It is 7-5/8" tall and has 216 numbered pages followed by 4 unnumbered pages of ads; it is the tan/red/black quad cover. It is square, very clean, free of edge dings with both lower corners bumped and slightly creased; the head and heel of the spine are very lightly bumped, with no fabric damage. The bottom edges have a small amount of wear. The exterior looks very good. The interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and page damage of any type. Both hinges are strong and not damaged. The frontis is intact. The paper is very slightly toned and quite flexible. The book lists 12 Swift titles on the copyright page but 27 titles on the list at the rear of the book. This VG quality jacket is very clean and the colors on the front panel are not damaged or faded. It has very tiny chips at the front corners, slight wear along the front fold, tiny edge chips and short tears at the head of the spine and a practically intact heel of the spine. There are two short tears on the front panel, a 1/2" one at the top edge and a 3/4" one on the bottom near the gutter. The spine is moderately toned and Tom's image and the lettering is extremely clear and distinct. There is no tape on this jacket. The front flap lists to title 27 in this series.
