About this Item
[a bit of age-toning, very slight damage to base of spine; binding intact and internally clean]. (stage diagram) An adaptation of Morley's 1925 semi-fantasy novel about a ten-year-old boy who finds himself projected twenty years into the future, and able to observe himself and his friends as adults. The play had a brief run (31 performances) at Maxine Elliott's Theatre in New York at the beginning of the 1933/34 Broadway season; among the cast members (mostly forgotten names) was Eleanor Audley, who went on to a long career in theatre, radio, and television -- the latter most memorably as Eddie Albert's mother in the 1960s sitcom "Green Acres.".
