1896. No Edition Remarks. 384 pages. No dust jacket. Brown cloth. Contains black and white illustrations. Heavy tanning and foxing to pages and text block edges. Cracks to guttering throughout and to hinges, with exposed netting. Front endpaper is missing. Half title page detached but still present. Previous owner's inscriptions to rear pastedown. Boards have moderate shelf wear, with rubbing and marking. Heavy bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends, causing cloth to fray. Binding remains firm with sunning overall.
