New York: Collectors Reprints/First Edition Library, circa 1990s. Near Fine. Exact facsimile first edition as published by Charles Scribner's Sons in 1934. The only new additions are on the copyright page stating Collectors Reprints and FEL on the bottom of the rear flap. These facsimiles have the same weight, size, typeface, art, dust jacket, finish, and texture as the originals. Tight and square with solid hinges and good tips. Textblock is clean with no writing, bookplate, or markings and not BCE, ex-library, or remaindered. Publisher printing error of thin ink strip to the top of page 361. The dust jacket is unclipped ($2.50) with faint shelf wear. Protected in a Mylar cover. 408 pages. 5½ x 8" tall. ?Tender Is the Night? is the fourth and final novel completed by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Set in the French Riviera during the twilight of the Jazz Age, the 1934 novel chronicles the rise and fall of Dick Diver, a promising young psychiatrist, and his wife, Nicole, who is one of his patients.
