VERY Early edition. Stated Second Edition. Three quarter leather with banded spine and marbled boards; gilt spine title. All extremities are well rubbed/worn. Lower spine front hinge is split, but tight. Illustrated with fabulous wood engravings throughout. Very mild scattered foxing. A neat pencil inscription on blank ffep, no other markings.
