Pale buff boards with dark red lettering to front and spine. Pictorial onlay of Little Pig Robinson on the front board. As the original Peter Rabbit books are undated, pinning them down to a date becomes a bit of detective work. We think this book is c. 1930+ as it was only published in 1930, and this copy is in a collection of Peter Rabbit books, all collected around 1920s and 30s. Also - dimensions are 14x10.5 cm, the same as other Peter Rabbit books of that era; endpaper illustrations contain Johnny Townmouse (which was the last character published before Little Pig Robinson; the book is illustrated throughout with line drawings and colour pictures. This appears to be an early UK copy. CONDITION: boards showing minor wear and love; spine sunned and also damaged at the top; internally bright, clean and unmarked; binding very good.
