About this Item
Top half of early letterhead paper, with a fine large steel engraving of Sydney at the heading by Frederick Charles Terry, one of Sydney's foremost artists and illustrators in the 1860s. The view looks down the hill towards the harbour, with houses built on the harbor, looking towards the North Shore & Sydney in the distance. Perhaps one of the buildings is the location where Doyle's Fish restaurant would later be founded (1885). Only the top half of the letter is present, torn off at the fold. Manuscript words "Woolloomooloo, April 21st 63". Trove 8190738. Seller Inventory # 6094
