Front cover by Reginald Heade. The spine has a one inch piece missing from the surface at the top and has some edge and surface chipping. The front cover has a little creasing to the corners and some light edge wear. The rear cover has the rear cover of an earlier Janson title stuck to it - this has been done quite neatly so the original rear cover can all be seen but it protrudes a little over the text block at the top and has some edge chipping and surface browning and creasing. The original rear cover has a surface creasing. Internally there is no rusting to the staples. The pages are a little browned with a one inch surface tear to the first page, a one inch edge tear to the next page and some small creases to the top corners at the front. Twelve Fourth Series titles (five in preparation) and three Specials (one in preparation) listed on the rear cover. The inside lists only seven Fourth Series titles and two Specials. This would suggest this is a 1952 printing of a book originally published in 1950. Seller Inventory # 017396

I will generally use whatever method is covered by the standard postage charge but if you specifically wish to have it sent surface or airmail or anything else please ask and I will amend the charge accordingly. Please only choose the cheaper surface mail option if you do not mind waiting - the suggested upper time limit for this form of delivery is 60 days and it can take that long - and sometimes a bit longer. If therefore you wish to receive the book in 2-3 weeks then please opt for the more expensive postage option which will guarantee airmail delivery.
