Pencil SIGNATUE of E. May Caldwell and penciled date of June '87 on the front pastedown. This is a notebook compiled of pencil drawings and studies, and ink sketches of life studies in locations such as Ashmont, Rocky Neck, and East Gloucester. 56 pages, some blank, and one with a section cut out of the top edge. Contemporary quarter leather over marbled boards. Some rubbing on extremities, with abrasions to the spine leather. Front hinge starting. A bookplate of "Prang's - Importers, Manfacturers and Dealers in Artist's Materials" is affixed on the front pastedown. Bookseller Inventory # 15112820
