Charlotte's Web has gray-green endpapers with a black spider's web, [viii] + 216 pages; Stuart Little has pictorial boards with Stuart paddling his canoe, pictorial gray-green endpapers, [x] + 131pp.; The Trumpet of the Swan is in blue buckram with gray-green endpapers [not the blue of the first printing], [viii] + 210pp. Gray Pictorial Slipcase. Very tight, bright, immaculate copies in sharp, VF to ~ New unclipped dust jackets. No internal annotations or marks. No prices on dust jacket flaps, ergo reprints as also indicated by the varying copyright dates and lack of number lines. Solid, tight and clean pictorial slipcase whose main defect is a ripple topside. E. B. White (1899 - 1985) was a highly respected American author. For more than fifty years, he was a contributor to The New Yorker magazine. He was also a co-author of the ever valued English language usage guide, The Elements of Style. As icing on his cake, White wrote books for children; among them: Stuart Little (1945), Charlotte's Web (1952), and The Trumpet of the Swan (1970). In a 2012 survey of School Library Journal readers, Charlotte's Web was voted the top children's novel. A NEAR FLAWLESS SET!!! We shall include three Brodart "mylar" transparent dust jacket protectors in case the buyer wishes to protect the dj's, but have not attached them beforehand because the books in the box are so tight.
